Is providing data required?
You can read the information pages without completing a form. Fields marked with an asterisk in the enquiry form are necessary to understand your question and contact you. The telephone number is optional. Without the necessary information, the form cannot be submitted or we may be unable to respond properly.
DNA, genetic and health data
Edonum presents its DNA and genetic testing activities, but the general edonum.lt enquiry form is not intended for samples, test results, patient documents or genetic and health data. Please do not submit these through that form.
Information on testing for humans, animals and microorganisms, cancer genetics and pharmacogenetics is available at dnr.lt. This website visitor policy does not replace the terms and data processing information applicable to a particular test. Contact us to establish the appropriate way to provide information.
Cookies and marketing
The website uses a session cookie for website operation, form security and language selection. You can manage cookies in your browser; disabling essential cookies may affect functionality. See the cookies page for details.
This version of edonum.lt has no visitor analytics, advertising tracking or newsletter subscription tools installed. Submitting an enquiry does not subscribe you to marketing. We do not profile visitors or make decisions based solely on automated processing that have legal or similarly significant effects.
Who may receive data
Data may be accessed by authorised UAB EDONUM staff and, as necessary for a specific task, website maintenance, IT, email, legal and other professional service providers. Providers receive only the data needed for their role, subject to confidentiality and data protection requirements.
Information may also be disclosed to competent authorities where required by law or where necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims. We do not sell personal data and it is not transferred to recipients outside the European Economic Area.
How long we keep data
Enquiry and correspondence data is kept while the matter is being addressed and the related actions are completed. Where correspondence becomes part of a contract or a record subject to statutory retention, the legal period for that record category applies. Information relating to a specific dispute may be retained while needed to establish or defend legal claims.
The retention period for technical browsing and device information is four weeks. Cookie lifetimes depend on their purpose and are described on the cookies page. At the end of the applicable retention period, data is deleted or anonymised.
